Board of Commissioners of Trust Funds
Minutes of the April 11, 2013 Meeting

Present:  William P. Goreham, Sumner Jones and Thaddeus Buczko

The meeting was called to order at 5:30 P.M. in the Mayor’s office, City Hall.

The Salem Council on Aging submitted a request for reimbursement expenses for medications.  Thaddeus Buczko made a motion to approve $79.89 from the Endicott Fund for the expenses.  The motion was seconded by William P. Goreham and voted
unanimously.

Salem High School After the Prom Committee submitted a request for a donation.
The members work for several months to provide a night that is filled with a buffet of food, dancing, swimming, amusement rides, volleyball, bingo games, entertainment from comedy hypnosis and seemingly endless drawings for prizes.

In the morning the students enjoy a continental breakfast in the field house.  Their goal is to keep all the students happy and safe after the prom.  Sumner Jones made a motion to approve $500 from the Browne School Fund for the event.  The motion was seconded by Thaddeus Buczko and voted unanimously.

The North Shore Concert Band submitted a request for funding for their summer free concerts at the Salem Willows.  Thaddeus Buczko made a motion to approve $1,800 from the Browne Discretionary Fund, payable in the new fiscal year (July 1, 2013).  The motion was seconded by William P. Goreham and voted unanimously.

The Brookhouse Home for Women submitted receipts for the residents for over the counter medications.  This was an approved Large Grant for FY12.  Thaddeus Buczko made a motion to approve $973.30 from the Endicott Fund.  The motion was seconded by William P. Goreham and voted unanimously.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 5:50 P.M.
